WHY “RASTI School of Excellence”?
“Blessed is the wealth of the Muslim, from which he gives to the poor, the orphan and the wayfarer.” (Muslim)
What do your children mean to you? And how would you feel if you couldn’t be there to love, guide and protect them?
There are an estimated 200 million children worldwide that has experienced this loss.
Many of these children will come from already disadvantaged backgrounds.
So losing a parent can mean that access to education, the protection of the shelter, the sustenance of nutritious meals and the chance for a secure future all become an impossible dream.
This is why the responsibility of care for the orphan falls on all of us.
Who could be more deserving of our help than the child who has no one?
As Muslims today, we have a great responsibility in rescuing and saving humanity. We should begin by presenting the greatest gift we can give to our children, our families, our communities and all of humanity. There is no better gift than the knowledge in the form of modern education and practice of Islam. We can present this gift by having correct and strong lmaan (faith). We must practice good deeds and apply our modern education with Islamic teachings of the Holy Book of Quran and Sunnah as a total way of life. That’s the best way to be successful in every field of life. This was the way our Beloved Prophet (S.A.W.).
Education is the basis of all progress. The entire purpose of education is not to restrict itself to imparting bookish knowledge only, but inculcate humanitarian values like wisdom, compassion, courage, humility, integrity and reliability in a student.
We, just like you, believe in holistic education for our child, encompassing – academics, co-curricular activities, sports education and life-skills learning. Our endeavor is to strike a balance between state-of-the-art infrastructure and an internationally acceptable education.
The campus, sports and academic facilities all bear testimony to this effort. In order to promote an internationally acceptable education, our key focus has been on faculty development – providing continuous teacher training in order to deliver real value education and excellence in academics. Teachers are trained not only to teach well, but are also expected to inspire confidence and trust in their students and become role
models. Further, the School inculcates in the students a respect for tradition and ensures discipline and good manners.
Our responsibility is the education to the young and nurture the future generation with proper modern and Islamic education.
Due to recent changes in global politics, the present times are tough and obviously there is a huge demand to come together and stay united for the peaceful co-existence of communities.
Finally, RASTI will continue to play its part in the development & progress of our students, our nation as a law-abiding, peaceful and productive community.
